Died on October 30, 2019 at 95 years of age.
Frank served proudly as a combat veteran in the US Navy during WWII narrowly escaping death by an enemy plane while on night watch in 1944. Married to Helen in 1949 until her death in 2017, they met each other while in grade school in Greenpoint.
Loving son to his parents Angelina and Michele and caring brother to John and Dominic. Adoring and adored father to daughters Angela and Vicky. Frank was a selfless man and a giving Christian. When daughter Vicky's husband, Roy Dina was diagnosed with Hodgkin's disease, Frank took action. He would leave his job on Friday's afternoons and accompany Roy for his weekly chemotherapy treatments. Roy lost the battle but brought out very the best in the family. By example, my Dad taught his family, neighbors and coworkers mercy, compassion and forgiveness. A legacy that will endure forever.
A special thanks to Rev. Richard Bretone for his spiritual guidance to The Frondelli family.
