Delusional GOP

Dear Editor,

Is Edward Riecks really that concerned with Hollywood (“Moving Out” - 4/27)? Does he really think President Donald Trump and his "elite swamp dwellers" can better relate to the middle class?

Remember a few years ago when Obama was president and the deficit was a big deal? But now that Trump is in charge, let's increase it!

Trump is proposing a massive cut in the corporate income tax, reducing the top rate from 35 to 15 percent. The nonpartisan Joint Committee on Taxation said that doing so would add trillions to long-term budget deficits.

How can any Republican look at the last 15 years in America and say "you know what the biggest problem was? We didn't cut billionaires' taxes enough.”

Any republican who can still turn a blind eye to this disaster of a presidency is delusional and simply won't accept facts.

Sincerely,

Robert LaRosa
