While few among us haven’t spent a weekend binge-watching a TV series, Astoria comedian Anne Victoria Clark is rare among binge-watchers in that she’s putting the lazy Sunday routine to good use.

Her newest podcast, “Lost Weekend”, co-hosted with fellow comedian Sean O’Reilly, comprises watching a series in quick succession and then offering humorous synopsis and commentary on the series, as well as special geusts.

“There’s so many weekends you spend binge-watching TV shows,” she said. “So I thought, how can I turn this into something fun and productive to do with all the people I know who are so creative and funny? This just seemed like the obvious answer.”

The first season, released all at one time two weeks ago, features Clark and O’Reilly watching MTV show Scream, a television spin-off of the popular film. Thus far, Taylor says, audience reactions have been very positive.

“It’s a lot of fun,” she said. “We’ve had a lot of people inquire about it, and a lot of people are really excited for the next season.”

A poll on the podcast’s website is currently open to voting to select which TV show the hosts will watch next season, with CW’s iZombie currently ranking number one.

“I’m excited to see what it’s all about,” said Taylor.
