JAWS, a line of nontoxic cleaners at Duane Reade stores in Brooklyn, Queens and more in the New York City area (www.Jawscleans.com), is $1 off this week through Sept. 1.

The cleaner line is regularly $5.99 a bottle (with one refill included) and is on sale for $4.99 with the included refill. The sale is for the JAWS Glass and Hard Surface Cleaner, JAWS Multi-Purpose Cleaner/Degreaser and JAWS Bathroom Cleaner/Deodorizer.

The tiny cartridge refill included with each bottle lets you keep reusing the same cleaning bottle – and save on plastic waste. Additional cartridge refills are available separately.

Here’s how it works: Use up one JAWS bottle, then refill the bottle with tap water and insert the cartridge, screw on the lid and you have a second bottle of cleaner. The additional refill cartridges after that are available in a separate two-pack (and also are on sale – regularly $4.49 for $3.49 until Sept. 1.)

The JAWS line will clean from kitchen to bathroom to porch.
